Privacy Policy

Overview

Augmatic Audio plug-ins are MIDI drum pattern generators. They run entirely on your device. They do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Data Collection

Augmatic Audio plug-ins do not collect or transmit any data directly.

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or telemetry are gathered
• No advertising identifiers are used
• No user tracking of any kind occurs
• No third-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs are included

Apple Crash Diagnostics: If you have opted in to share diagnostics with Apple (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), Apple may collect anonymized crash reports and performance data when the app crashes. This data is provided to the developer through Apple's standard reporting tools to help identify and fix issues. This is an Apple platform feature, not something Augmatic Audio implements independently. You can opt out at any time in your device settings.

Data Storage

All data created by Augmatic Audio plug-ins is stored locally on your device:

• Presets — Pattern settings saved as XML files in the app's local storage
• MIDI Mappings — Note assignment configurations saved as XML files in the app's local storage
• User Preferences — App settings stored via the operating system's standard preferences (UserDefaults)

On iOS and iPadOS, presets and MIDI mappings are shared between the standalone app and the AUv3 plugin extension using Apple's App Groups feature. This data never leaves your device.

If you enable Files app access in iOS, your presets and MIDI mappings become visible in the Files app for manual backup or transfer. This is entirely under your control.

Network Access

Augmatic Audio plug-ins do not connect to the internet. They make no network requests of any kind. There are no servers, no cloud storage, and no remote APIs.

Bluetooth

Augmatic Audio plug-ins request Bluetooth access solely to connect to wireless MIDI controllers and instruments. Bluetooth is used exclusively for MIDI communication. No data is collected or transmitted via Bluetooth beyond standard MIDI messages.

Third-Party Services

Augmatic Audio plug-ins do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

Augmatic Audio plug-ins do not collect any data from any user, including children. The apps are rated 4+ and are suitable for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. Since Augmatic Audio plug-ins collect no data, material changes are unlikely.
